Singing and Dance Techniques

The Workshop
Michael Stiggers will show practical ways for supporting your voice while dancing. There will be a brief Q & A.

Bio

Michael Stiggers is an actor, singer and voiceover artist from West Point, Georgia. He got his start at The Springer Opera House in Columbus, Georgia before bouncing around the musical theatre scene here in Atlanta, regional theaters across the country, theme parks, cruise ships and eventually making his way to New York.

He made his Broadway debut in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical before joining the cast of The Lion King on Broadway—a role he finally landed after auditioning five times over ten years, which is a pretty good reminder that persistence pays off.

These days, Michael is back in Atlanta, where he works in theater, film, TV, and commercials. He'll be featured in recurring roles on the new season of Tyler Perry's Divorced Sistas and the upcoming Netflix crime thriller All The Sinners Bleed. You can currently catch him dancing in this summer's Chick Fil A commercial. You might have also seen him as the guy singing in that Jardiance musical commercial that combined two of his favorite things: yard work and musical theatre! But his greatest gig ever is being "Dad" to two beautiful girls alongside his lovely wife Maggie. IG @stiggah_man
